About Liška Miniatures
I always enjoyed painting and sculpting animals when I was younger but had not done so for many years. When I recently created a small commemorative painting and sculpture of my own dog, this lead to some requests from friends and neighbours to create likenesses of their dog and word of mouth has increased enough for me to decide I’d like to start this up as a small business.
“Liška” (Pronounced “lish-ka”) is the name I gave my dog – a Shiba Inu who sadly passed away last year aged 15. It means “Fox” in Czech/Slovac and was just the perfect name for her with her foxy good looks and cunning personality. The name and logo of my business honours her memory.
